Q. 2)   I have passed in the previous Academic Term, whether I can apply for Internship transfer in the current Academic Term and the Internship Transfer can be granted to me?
Ans.:
Yes. You can apply on the genuine ground and if both of the relieving and receiving     college have issued NOC. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor will decide your case considering the merit and genuineness of the application as per prescribed rules. Rules are available on University Website under Academic Notification No. /2012.

Q. 3)    The Principal of the college refuges to issue the NOC on the ground that the quota of relieving / receiving is completed for my college to whom shall I approach and how can  I get NOC from the concerned college?
Ans.:
The University is the permitting authority of the Internship Transfer. However, to issue NOC      is within the preview of the college. But mere issuance of NOC does not mean that internship transfer is granted. So the Principal /Dean can issue the NOC’s irrespective of the prescribed quota. However, considering local problems of the Hospital and number of interns required to the college it is up to him to decide about the same.

Q. 4)    Can I get the University Internship Completion Certificate personally (by hand) and on the same day of submission of my application and how much fees I have to pay for it?
Ans.:
Yes. The University issues the Internship Completion Certificate personally (by hand) and on the same day of submission of application to eligible student if there is urgency and need of the student, provided he / she submits an Authority Letter from the college stating that the college authority have No Objection to handover the Internship Completion Certificate to the aspirant student. The Internship Completion Certificate is issued to the aspirant student by hand only after satisfying the identity of the student.  For the same the Student has to pay a fees of Rs. 500/- in cash/DD.

Q. 5)    If I gets Internship transfer and I have started my current posting then should I complete my present posting and then can I join to receiving college?
Ans.:
It is advisable to complete the present posting first in the parent college and then join to receiving college for further postings. Incomplete posting cannot be considered for calculating mandatory rotator Internship Tanning programme. Otherwise the candidate has to start a fresh posting at Transferee College.

Q. 6)    Where my final evaluation of Internship Transfer is required to be done?
Ans.:
At your parent college only & not at transferee college.

Q. 7) Is there a provision of repeat posting, if there is a gap in performing the Internship Programme?
Ans.:
Internship Training Programme of one year is mandatory for all the students of all faculties (except Basic B.Sc. Nursing & P.B. B.Sc. Nursing courses). Every student has to complete the period of training prescribed for each Department. The leave of absence over and above   12 days casual leave shall be treated as absentee, which is compensated by a repeat posting equivalent to the period of absence. While doing Internship, if a student remains    absent, then he has to repeat the posting in the same department for a period of his absence. In short every student has to complete the prescribed period of Internship in each     Department. If he remains absent on medical reason then he has to complete the remaining part of Internship after his rejoining the Internship. For detail please refer faculty wise     Notifications of Internship programme, are available on University website i.e. www.muhs.ac.in.

Q. 8)    Is there is a provision of elective posting in foreign countries for doing Internship Programme?
Ans.:
As there is no provision prescribed by the Medical Council of India to carry out elective posting from out of the Country. The University can not issue NOC for the same.

Q. 9)    Is there is a provision to perform the Internship Training at out of the state / other University?
Ans.:
Yes. There is a provision of Internship Transfer from MUHS to out of State / other University.    For details please refer University website i.e. www.muhs.ac.in.

Q. 10) Relieving College is not issuing NOC to me?
Ans.:
To issue the NOC is up to the Dean/Principal of the concerned college. However, Dean/Principal can issue an NOC to a student on his request because mere issuance of NOC from relieving / receiving college does not mean the Internship Transfer is allotted. The ultimate right of granting internship transfer is within the preview of the University.
